difference of one year
it's time for my routine checking of emails. haha but just a quick update: i received news that's a cause for celebration today. my youngest aunt is expecting her 2nd child! a baby boy! (the housewives were all marvelling today, "wahhh, technology so advanced nowadays ah! only 3mths and doctor can tell the gender of the baby! not like last time hor...") so another little cousin for me! (: was telling my youngest aunt, who used to live with me till i was abt five that i'd repay her by looking after her little bundle of joy. haha and she went, "no need lahh, by then you surely will be busy with pak tor, where got time." to which i replied, "then i bring ur little boy out when i pak tor lor." can right. rigghhhhht. :Dthen i was musing, how big a difference one year made. at this time back in 2005, i was inseparable from my favourite ppl of 4P, and there was work to keep me occcupied. not to mention a different set of troubles weighed down my heart too. christmas had a different meaning altogether. fast forward to 2006, inseparable from team, my siblings have grown, i found myself being involved with things i never imagined i'd get involved with, moving house, new
on the topic of time and change, i suddenly burst out to rc on our recent study date, " i cant believe i'm going to be eighteen! that's like so old! i havent finish being seventeen yet! and you're going to be nineteen! we're old!" haha the poor guy must have been a little taken aback by my sudden exclaimation. pardon me love, nothing changes kayy. you & i, we share something that transcends time (:
today i revealed to my mum, or rather acknowledged (grudgingly) that the more i observe my dad, the more i discover traits of him that i possess. which is not necessarily a good thing. haha and recently i've been the unofficial interpreter for the two adults at home. no doubt language is no barrier, there's simply too great a disparity between their wavelengths. ahah. their conversations amuse me sometimes, really. ohhwell. grown-ups.
alright back to OCIP. trainings trainings trainings!
/ the sound of clashing mahjong tiles can be qte defeaning at night.
